The mission of Prabhu Foundation is to strive towards securing human rights for all, specially the marginalized people and society by promotion, analysis, capacity building, awareness creation and sensitization of people, policies and Institutions. We are determined to utilize and apply environmental legislation in order to provide quality environmental services with integrity and fairness while not compromising our codes of professional conduct and codes of ethics in assisting our clients to achieve their business goals and targets.
We prioritize people's participation in all social and community development projects. Every aspect, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, is carried out collaboratively with the community. This inclusive approach ensures that projects are effective, impactful, and tailored to meet the needs of the people involved. About Us
Prabhu Foundation is established in Nov, 2001, is a non‐government, non‐political and non‐profit organization. It aims to uphold the social dignity and economic well being of downtrodden, deprived and marginalized communities, in rural and urban vicinities of Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha & Madhya Pradesh. Recognizing its social responsibility foundation has been continuously working to build a healthy environment for the deprived populace by seamlessly connecting grass root work in health & hygiene, education, child rights, water resource management, natural resource management, formation of SHGs, village Forest Protection and Management committee and employable skill development programs. Prabhu Foundation is also involved in Environment management by conducting assessment and conducting various kind of audits of industrial operations and corporates for contributing sustainable development.
Jal Jeevan Mission
The Jal Jeevan Mission, a pivotal Central Government initiative, aims to provide piped water to every rural household by 2024. Launched on August 15, 2019, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the “Har Ghar Jal Yojana” focuses on delivering clean water through pipelines. Beneficiaries include households lacking water connections, with state-led implementation and additional funding from central programs such as MGNREGA, SBM, PRI funds, and the 15th Finance Commission grants.
The mission unfolds in three phases:-
- Extending and enhancing existing water supply schemes.
- Creating infrastructure for groundwater-based water supply.
- Formulating village plans for water quality issues.
This mission signifies a significant step in ensuring clean drinking water access and rural community well-being.
